As years have gone by, my taste in makeup has evolved but I’ve always held a strong affliction of purchasing peach toned eyeshadows and blushes. In some ways it’s an easy pastel like colour that actually shows up and complements my skin tone. Over the years my collection has grown and I feel content that I have established a collection with good variations in tone and shade. Let’s explore!

Hopefully, this is a comprehensive post for you to judge the different offerings.
Luminous Peaches
There’s always one product that lights a spark and spurs you on to explore (and spend more money). Mac Extra Dimension Skinfinish in Fairly Precious is what really all this. I had always looked at peach blushes as being too light for me but this highlighter purchase ended up being a blush favourite of mine. You can see I have the older packaging and while I haven’t have hit the pan on it, it is extremely well loved. It can read a bit frosty in a swatch but depending on how much you build it up, you can control the sheen.
Along similar lines of a blush/highlighter hybrid is the Fenty Beauty Match Stix in Trippin, it looks so fiery in the tube but the effect on the skin is more tempered. It can read rose gold leaning in the swatch but this is looks amazing on deeper skin tones with its very warm gold shift and orange/peach base. This is definitely one of the most unique shades I own.
The Pastel Peaches
These two were my first foray’s into peach blushes, they are definitely very old but I still use them in rotation. Jouer Mineral Powder Blush in Peach Bouquet is unfortunately now discontinued but I love using this blush so much, it’s been my go-to for years now. This is probably the most pink leaning peach shade I own and it imparts a sheer wash of colour, my preferred blush type.
Majolica Majorca Puff de Cheek in Apricot Macaron can be deemed the cutest of the lot. It’s such a good collectible blush, I find the colour here to be very unique as it’s a very yellow toned peach, unlike anything else in my collection. As someone that likes sheer blushes, this one is way too sheer and needs several swipes for a decent outcome. Unless it’s been reformulated or you get to swatch this yourself, I wouldn’t really recommend purchasing this one. It is cute though.

Deep Peaches bordering on Tan
Dior Rouge Blush in Charnelle is a post Covid purchase, I remember buying this because I was buying a new blush after so long and it wasn’t a planned purchase. I was strolling in Sephora, Barcelona and spotted this. Those are the best kind of purchases. It’s a beautiful sheer blush, this definitely leans more warm nude on my skin tone but it’s a colour that would complement any makeup.
Mac Sheertone Shimmer Blush in Sunbasque is a repurchase, it’s such a complementary colour on medium/tan skin tones. I love wearing this in the summer, loading it up more for luminosity. It’s a deep peach/orange with very fine gold shimmer running through it. The shimmer is extremely subtle and doesn’t emphasise any texture on the skin.
Mac Sheertone Blush in Gingerly is quite pigmented despite the name. Excellent formula, blends out so well and this shade in particular can really give that sun kissed look. Sometimes I like to pair Gingerly and Sunbasque together as well.
Haus Labs Color Fuze Blush Powder in Fire Moon was also a spot and grab purchase from Sephora. I considered Pomelo Peach in this range which is a lighter true peach but this a deeper terracotta shade like this was clearly missing in my collection. Formula wise, this is quite pigmented, I pick this up with just a dip of a brush and build on rather than getting on more product and blending it out.
Bright and True Peaches
Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam is my newest purchase as in recent years I’ve been leaning more on purchasing cream blushes. I’ve loved the Cloud Paint formula for years and Beam has been in my cart for so many years but I finally pulled the trigger on it. I love how vibrant Beam is but this sheers out and leans a true peach on the skin. You don’t need a lot of this product and it will last a lifetime (judging by my other Glossier blushes as well)
Rare Beauty Stay Vulnerable Melting Blush in Nearly Apricot is a beautiful thing creamy formula, this blends out so seamlessly. I do prefer this formula over Glossier as you have better control over the amount of product used but I would not travel with this owing to its size. This is again a true peach with vibrancy, looks amazing on deeper skin tones.
